The latest addition to the Winters & Rain family of elegant convertible accessories is our veiling collection. We make our veils from the finest materials available. First, we start with softest, highest quality tulle that we can find, then we create elegant and fluid shapes to compliment your gown, not compete with it. We have a complete line of adorned edges that are delicately hand beaded in our shop with cultured freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystal. Our beading is "just enough", and does not try to overpower you or your dress. And just like our headpiece collection, our adorned veils can also be returned after the wedding and we will remove the beading and restring it into a beautiful piece of heirloom jewelry. Our ribbon veils are edged in Italian double faced duchess silk satin, and are available in a variety of colors and widths from 1/8" to 1". We also offer a complete line of metallic (silver and gold) pencil edged veiling that coordinates perfectly with the metallic embroidery found in so many gowns today. Whether your taste is classic, or you are looking for something with some elegant, high quality hand beading, Winters & Rain has the perfect veil for your wedding day. Ask your local salon

Venice headband with veil
72" Wide: Gathered onto a 4" wide comb giving some "poof" or height but not too much.
108" Wide: Gathered onto a 4" wide comb giving more height or "poof".
A/B/C: This is a two layered veil with the width of the veiling as "A" and the length of the two layers as "B" & "C".
Circular: This is a two layered veil where the veil is lightly gathered on the comb and the comb is in the middle of a circular shape. This is a great way to have a blusher layer without having the veil too "poofy" at the comb. When the two layers are slightly different length this also gives a tiered or lacy look when then both layers are back laying on top of each other.
Elegant Cut: This cut comes down on either side of the comb to the waist and then breaks to the back at an angle instead of having the traditional gradual curve that starts down the sides and ends in the back.
Opera Cut: This cut comes down straight on either side of the comb to the waist and then breaks to the back at an angle with a scallop pencil edge across the bottom part of the veil only.
Pencil Edge: This edge is a very fine embroidery edge that finishes the veil with a delicate edge.
Silver or Gold Pencil Edge: Same delicate embroidery edge as above except that it has a metalic silver or gold thread in it. This edge looks amazing with any dress that has a silver or gold embroidery on it.
Bias Ribbon: We take pure silk ribbon and fold it in half (on the bias), press it and stitch it only on the inside edge where it is attached to the veil giving the edge more weight and body than a regular ribbon edge. This is a classic look that looks great with any dress.
Scallop: A gentle scallop is cut into edge in a repeating pattern every 7". This gives a beautiful lacy edge look to the veil.
Scallop Pencil: The scallop edge above is then finished with a fine embroidery stitch enhancing the lacy feel.
Scallop Silver or Gold Pencil: Same as above but the scalloped embroidery edge is sewn with a metalic thread.
